Cocktail-Rock
was created through a discussion about what sort of music and entertainment North
Wilts Golf Club
needed after a professionals' tournament.
As we described what we might do, the idea of playing at cocktail lounge
jazz volume together with the play-list from a rock band
came together.
Cocktail-ROCK
was
developed. We'll never live that one
down - ROCK?.....Golf-Club?!
The band has now matured
more over time and on this website you'll be able to find out
more about the instruments we play, the play-list and
planned songs, and how to get hold of a CD so some sound files of
non-copyright materials so you can tell what we sound like.
There's also some of the other options we've put
together like
Cocktail-ROCK
-LOUD for those
party events where you may want more musicians or to hear us 500 yards away!
We do
weddings, parties, social events, conferences
and exhibitions, in
fact anywhere that rock music is needed - but at volumes where
people can still socialise or perhaps do some business. We
even get out on the street occasionally, as we did for the Devizes Christmas
Festival organiser in 2004, again in 2005 and
2006
Costs depend on duration,
distance from Devizes, and the instruments and equipment we need
on the day. But get in touch and discuss and ask for the
demo CD so you'll hear what we're like.
